Gala Tickets Go On Sale in Chicago
(CHICAGO, Nov. 25) Organizers of NTDTV’s Chinese New Year Global Gala in Chicago kicked off ticket sales at noon on November 25. Tickets are now available for purchase by telephone and online. The Chicago gala will take place February 4, 2006, 7:00 PM at the Arie Crown Theater in downtown Chicago.
The NTDTV gala will integrate traditional Chinese culture with classical Western arts. The Gala will feature a variety of unique performances, including Tang Dynasty-era dances, elegant performances of traditional Chinese instruments, wonderful Chinese folk dances, and more. Outstanding artists from Mainland China, Taiwan, Canada, Europe, Australia and the United States will perform in the gala.
The Chicago gala will be co-hosted by NTDTV, The Epoch Times and the Sound of Hope radio station. It is the first time that the grand Chinese New Year’s celebration will be hosted in the greater Chicago area.
In the past two years, NTDTV successfully held two galas and over 10,000 attendees enjoyed the live performance each year. The 2006 Gala promises to be even more magnificent and grander in scale. The live touring performances will be held in 16 cities across Europe, Asia, Australia and North America. In addition, highlights of the New York gala will be broadcast via NTDTV’s global networks (satellite TV network, Cable TV network, and website) throughout the 2006 Chinese New Year festival.
