The climax of the NTDTV International Chinese New Year Gala series will be presented on 25th February 2006 in the Grand Amphithéâtre of the Paris Conference Centre, France.

“The Paris Conference Centre” is one of the most famous, well-equipped and modern conference centers in Paris. It is only a 5-minute-drive from the elegant, busy Champs-Elysées. The Conference Centre holds thousands of activities every year, of which a third are international conferences. There are also a great many artistic performances. The Centre’s main hall is grandly magnificent, and can seat almost 4000, while the stage itself is larger than 500 square meters. The design of the auditorium has been well-planned to consider the audiences’ line of sight and comfort- it has a gradient steep enough so that any line of vision is unblocked. The hall, despite its vastness, only has 1 floor and no pillars. From any perspective, the stage provides an excellent visual impact.

The programme of the Gala in Paris combines traditional Chinese culture and classical Western arts. Graceful dances from the most prosperous Tang dynasty and the refined serenity of Chinese instrumental ensembles will bring the audience an unforgettable night. Performers from all over the world will gather in Paris and dedicate their skills to this gala.
